Hospital Notary Service in Manassas, Virginia
When a patient needs a document notarized, traveling to a notary may not be possible. I provide bedside mobile notary service at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted-living facilities, and other healthcare locations throughout Manassas and Northern Virginia. Before the visit, we confirm the document, identification, witness needs, facility access, and whether the signer is alert, willing, and able to communicate directly with the notary.

Documents Commonly Presented During Hospital Visits
Most hospital notary requests include:
-
Powers of attorney
-
Advance medical directives
-
Medical authorization forms
-
Affidavits and sworn statements
-
Estate-planning documents prepared by an attorney
-
Insurance and employment documents
-
Property and financial documents
**The document must be complete and ready for signature. Some documents require witnesses in addition to notarization, so those requirements should be confirmed with the document preparer or receiving organization before the appointment.
What You Can Expect During a Hospital Visit
I meet directly with the signer, review identification, confirm willingness and awareness, witness the required signature, and complete the notarial certificate. The signer must be able to communicate directly and demonstrate a basic understanding of the document. Family members and medical staff cannot answer for the signer. If the notarization cannot be completed, I will explain the reason, but I cannot recommend legal documents or provide legal advice.
